The weekend is awesome here in Minnesota! We went from the absolute deep freeze to the 40's and it's such a welcome relief!

It's got me thinking of spring (and even summer), but I know that it's not over til it's over in our fine state and we've got a fair amount of winter left to "plow" through (pun intended).

Random Item 2:
One winter activity that I did enage in on this spring-like weekend was ice skating! Haven't skated in YEARS, but we decided to brush the dust off of our skates and give it a whirl. I wasn't exactly whipping around the rink but managed to get through the evening without falling, which was better than I expected! It was fun...

Random Item 3:
Our cute little neighbor girls came over last week with boxes of Girl Scout cookies and, since my husband answered the door, we ended up with way more than we needed. The thin mints are my downfall. seriously. I freeze them thinking "out of sight out of mind" but they're actually BETTER frozen, so no help there...

Chocolate and pink go so well together, don't they? Actually, in my world, chocolate goes with anything, anytime, anywhere. :-) No image of the thin mints, but I like chocolate donuts just as well. Country Living was kind enough to provide the recipe for the one pictured above! yum...
